8/9/13

Sitting on the deck at my in-laws in Oregon,
we get to watch the hummingbirds play, buzz by and drink up.
No matter where we look, from any and every angle,
the valley is reflected
in the huge picture windows and sliding doors along the side of the house.

And from inside looking out,
we catch the hummingbirds in silhouette...
and the valley reflected in their feeder!

  1. The reflection gives you two hummingbirds to watch. ;)

  2. Great shots! I can't decide which reflection I like best between the hummingbird in the window or the reflection in the feeder

  5. The first one with the reflection of the bird flying is so neat despite the movement... Nices set of picture, I like the effect contre-jour on the last one, too : very esthetical.

  6. Lovely silhouettes and reflections.
Oregon, Montana, Wyoming ... beautiful country.
Probably other states nearby, too, but I haven't been recently.

  9. Hummingbirds are soooo hard to catch. I must have taken a zillion of my friend's feeder and got only one or two decent ones.
    Bravo!
