After waiting in line quite a while to get my car inspected....

only to find out that the state's computers don't consider it currently registered...

I was grumpy.

Even those cute hearts on a tree at the pond seemed kinda dumb.

About half way around the pond, the crisp air and brisk walk had

cleared my head and lifted my spirits.

Then I saw this.

And I was so glad that I hadn't given into my frustration and bagged my walk.

This was today's gift. 

Felt like he was swimming along the edge of the pond just to say hi to me!

And to encourage me to come back again soon.
