We spent the weekend in Harpswell, Maine ... in a house by the sea!
I got up on Saturday...
and then again on Sunday to watch the sunrise.
I stood for a long time, gazing out over the sea and snapping photos.

For once, I was so taken by a scene, I wasn't even thinking about looking for a reflection.
And then I turned around!
The sunrise was almost as stunning in the glass along the front of the house
as it was out over the sea!!

ReplyDeleteI know this is on the other side of the country but it has the same feel as when my wife and I used to take sunset walks on Balboa Island when we lived in Newport Beach, CA.
