{First day of Spring, Horn Pond, Woburn, MA}

"It was one of those March days
when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:
when it is summer in the light
and winter in the shade."
Charles Dickens

We're on the verge.
On the edge.
Spring is flirting with us.
There is sunshine. And melting.
But winter hasn't let go quite yet.
Gotta love New England!

  11. A superb capture! While you are longing for the warmth, I am grateful not to have the air-conditioner or ceiling fans on and to be able to let in fresh air through the doors and windows! Thanks for sharing this delightful scene.
